Health, Wellness + Social

Our Health, Wellness and Social Committee knows the value of social gatherings for cultivating friendships, reducing isolation and simply having fun together while enjoying our beautiful city. They’ve organized meetups at many Edmonton festivals and venues, and a Movie Club was recently started. The committee is always ready to take up new and engaging activities for the benefit of AiLA members and Edmonton’s autistic community.

Join us Saturday, June 20th at 11:30 a.m. for a fun summer outing! We’re meeting at the kettle corn kiosk to explore the Strathcona Farmers Market, followed by a historic streetcar ride across the high-level bridge.

The Movie Club

The AiLA Movie Club offers film enthusiasts in Edmonton’s autistic community a low-pressure, welcoming space to connect. Whether catching the latest big-screen releases or discussing favourite genres, the club provides a fantastic anchor for consistent, casual social connection.

Accessible Adventures

Beyond our regular meet-ups, AiLA organizes seasonal getaways and multi-day group trips. These accessible adventures give members the chance to experience new destinations, build independent travel skills, and create lifelong memories in a supportive, structured environment.
